Why did York Region develop a Best Practices?

We have developed our Best Practices for Planning Centres and Corridors (PDF 3 MB) to help engage residents, government and the development industry in a discussion about city-building in York Region. We encourage visitors to come to this site to Have Your Say on our Best Practices and the material and examples throughout this site.

I have other examples of great city-building practices that York Region should look at.
How can I share these examples with York Region?

We recognize that there are many strong examples of best practices in city-building. If you have an example that we haven't examined Contact Us or use the commenting feature available throughout this site. We are always interested in hearing about new and innovative initiatives.

How can I provide comments on the Centres and Corridors program or the Best Practices?

We want to hear from you. You can navigate to the Have Your Say page, or comment directly on our site using the comment feature located at the bottom of each page.
