Why did York Region develop a Best Practices?

We have developed our Best Practices for Planning Centres and Corridors (PDF 3 MB) to help engage residents, government and the development industry in a discussion about city-building in York Region. We encourage visitors to come to this site to Have Your Say on our Best Practices and the material and examples throughout this site.

I have other examples of great city-building practices that York Region should look at.
How can I share these examples with York Region?

We recognize that there are many strong examples of best practices in city-building. If you have an example that we haven't examined Contact Us or use the commenting feature available throughout this site. We are always interested in hearing about new and innovative initiatives.
